Slack app
Postify for Slack
Publishing alerts in the Slack channel you choose, so a failed post is seen by your team before your audience notices it is missing.
Add to SlackThe Slack app is free to install; Postify plans are on the pricing page.
What it does
When you install the app, Slack asks you to pick one channel. Postify then posts an alert in that channel when:
- A scheduled post fails to publish.
- A delivery fails.
- A connected social channel needs reconnecting.
Every alert links back to Postify, so you can fix the problem from the alert itself.
How to install
- Click Add to Slack.
- Pick a channel on Slack's screen.
- Sign in to (or create) your Postify account to link it.
You can also connect from Settings → Notifications in Postify.
Permissions
The app requests one scope, incoming-webhook, which lets it post to the single channel you chose. It cannot read messages, channels or members.
Disconnect
Disconnect from Postify's notification settings, or remove the app in Slack. Either one removes the connection.
