# Getting started

Create your Postify account, connect your first social channel, and publish your first post.



## Create an account [#create-an-account]

Go to [app.usepostify.com](https://app.usepostify.com) and sign up with one of:

* Email and password
* Google
* Apple

Two-factor authentication is available for extra account security, and you can reset your password from the sign-in page if you ever lose it.

> You can also try Postify in guest mode without creating an account, and every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

## Connect a channel [#connect-a-channel]

A channel is a connected social account — the destination a post publishes to. From the Channels page, pick a network and walk through its authorization flow; [Channels and platforms](https://usepostify.com/docs/channels-and-platforms) lists every network you can connect today and how each one connects. Once connected, the channel shows up as a publish target in the composer.

The Free plan includes 3 connected channels; paid plans raise the limit — see [Plans and pricing](https://usepostify.com/docs/pricing).

## Write your first post [#write-your-first-post]

1. Open the composer and write your post once.
2. Select the channels it should publish to.
3. Optionally tailor the text and media per platform — each platform gets its own variant.
4. Publish now, or pick a date and time to schedule it.

Scheduled posts appear on the content calendar, and every post records its per-channel delivery outcome so you can confirm it actually went out.
